A great experience from start to finish.
I’m always a little dubious about buying things through social media sites, I’ve been stung in the past, but these panels looked exactly like the kind of thing I was needing for an ugly painted retaining wall in my back garden, so I sent a message to ask for more information.
Jake couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. He gave me a great deal and the panels, adhesive and edge trim were with me two days later!
I am terrible at anything to do with DIY, but even for someone with my (very!) limited skills, these were a breeze to cut and stick up (a little tip…leave the foam adhesive to cure a little before putting the panels onto your wall. I found 5 - 10 minutes was perfect to let it firm up a little and stick to the surface). A Stanley/box knife was all I needed to cut the panels to size and they seem to be stuck like s**t to a blanket now that they’re up.
I really can’t praise Jake highly enough for his help, professionalism and friendly manner. A fantastic company to deal with, I wouldn’t hesitate in contacting them again.
Easy to cut, drill. Hard finish and very stable, always cap off to prevent water behind panel expanding in winter and cant see why this can't last 20plus yrs
Easy to work with, fast coverage, got no worries of it lasting 20plus yrs. I would and will mitre corners on next with a girnder on externeal corner build (about a month on a wall). Solid and thermal outside skin on my pond. Would always cap with coping if it open at top to prevent water ingress behind sheeting and blowing in sub temps. Definitely recommend.
Still a bit of finishing off to do, but sort of there.
Things I didn’t like:-
The Adhesive - Took a while to get use to how fast it dispenses and how fast.
Around Plugs/Light Switches - Not left it that good, but I’ve sorted some of the untidy edges with a surround.
Cut edges - looks untidy, I’ve come up with a plan from my WarHammer paintings to do a ‘Dry Brush’ pain on the edges.
What a refreshingly good user friendly company to deal with from start to finish, i ordered two panels to see what they would look like on my raised fish pond and they look really smart, the panels are top quality and very realistic, they arrived on time and well packaged, great communication and would highly recommend them, 5⭐️
